The system is finished with handmade carbon fiber tailpipes and delivers a stunning soundtrack with the unique Akrapovič signature. The sound is controlled by a complex X-connection, cast in Akrapovič's own titanium foundry, with a precisely milled valve blade to adjust the tones. These valves can be operated with a button in the cabin or via the Sound Remote Controller of the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit.

When the X-connection valve is open, the exhaust system delivers a more continuous, smooth, and harmonious sound for a more comfortable ride. In closed mode, the acoustics are maximized to give the CLA 45 a pure, sporty, and intense sound reminiscent of a muscle-car V8 roar – remarkable for a four-cylinder. Power and torque are increased across the entire rev range.

This system features ECE type approval and does not require ECU remapping – plug-and-play installation.
