Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) – BMW M340i (G20, G21) – 2020

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) for the BMW M340i (G20, G21) offers a powerful combination of weight reduction, performance gain, and an immersive sound experience. Crafted from lightweight titanium and finished with handcrafted carbon-fibre tailpipes, this system saves an impressive 11.89 kg (–24.6%) compared to the standard exhaust system.

The upgrade delivers an additional 3.4 kW (4.6 hp) of power and 12.4 Nm more torque at 2,650 rpm, measured on the Akrapovič dyno. Two valves – instead of the single valve in the original system – along with acoustic reflectors, create a rich and exciting sound, partly directed back into the interior for an intense driving experience.

Thanks to the two valves, a TNG controller is included to operate the additional valve. Two resonators – on both sides of the central muffler – perfect the sound. The sound remains comfortable during normal driving and sporty under higher loads, without annoying resonance. The system is ECE-approved (for OPF versions only) and does not require ECU reprogramming.

Installation:
The original exhaust must be cut. Please read the instructions carefully before assembly.

Please note – mandatory components:
An additional OEM exhaust valve actuator is required for installation (part number: 18 30 8 686 640).

Suitable for BMW M340i Sedan (G20), Touring (G21) with OPF.
Also fits BMW M440i models (G22, G23, G26) with OPF.
