With a weight saving of no less than 11.89 kg – a reduction of 33% compared to the standard exhaust system – this upgrade not only provides better performance but also a refined sound and a sporty look thanks to the handmade carbon-fibre tailpipes.

The dual valve technology (one extra compared to OEM) ensures a dynamic sound that adapts to driving behavior: quiet while cruising, raw and intense at higher RPMs. Two acoustic reflectors guide the sound into the interior for an immersive driving experience – every journey feels like an event.

Performance gain (measured on Akrapovič dyno vs. OEM):

• Power gain: +3.4 kW (4.6 hp) at 2,650 rpm

• Torque increase: +12.4 Nm at 2,650 rpm

• Weight: –11.89 kg

Thanks to the use of specially cast parts from Akrapovič's in-house titanium foundry and a resonator on both sides of the muffler, the exhaust sound is perfectly tuned, and annoying resonance is eliminated. The included TNG controller activates the second valve, and an optional Akrapovič Sound Kit offers control over the sound from the cockpit.

Plug & play installation, without ECU modifications. ECE type approval applies to vehicles with OPF/GPF. For those who want to go even further, there is an optional link pipe set for additional performance upgrades.

Please note: for installation on M340i (G20, G21) and M440i (G22, G23, G26), an additional OEM actuator (18 30 8 686 640) is required.
