Is the Stage 2 tune safe for my Ferrari 812 Superfast?
Yes. Our Stage 2 software for the Ferrari 812 Superfast remains within the thermal and mechanical safety margins of the 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine. We calibrate ignition timing, throttle control, and variable valve control in accordance with the original engine safety logic.
What is the difference between Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3?
Stage 1 is a pure software optimization without hardware modifications. Stage 2 adds supporting hardware (e.g., downpipes, sport intake, or exhaust) for additional power. Stage 3 is a complete bolt-on package with all hardware and a custom calibration for maximum power.
Will my factory warranty be affected?
Software modifications can impact the dealer warranty. At Vermado, we can always restore your original ECU file should you wish to have the car serviced at the dealer or sell it as "stock."
How long does the Stage 2 installation take?
Most Stage 2 installations are completed within one working day at our workshop in Purmerend, including dyno validation and test drive.
Can the Ferrari 812 Superfast tune be undone?
Yes. Vermado always keeps an original backup of your ECU. The software can be fully restored to factory values within approximately one hour.
What fuel is needed after the tune?
We recommend RON 98 or RON 100 (Shell V-Power, BP Ultimate 102, or equivalent) for optimal performance and engine longevity.
