JCR Superlight Race Pipe (Cat Delete) Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS
JCR Superlight Race Pipe (Cat Delete) – Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS
Description
The Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS is already a legendary model, but even this icon can benefit from weight savings, improved throttle response, and a rawer, more immersive sound. The JCR Superlight Race Pipe (Cat Delete) has been specially developed for this model and combines maximum flow, drastically lower weight and a pure motorsport sound while maintaining OEM fitment.
Lightweight Design
The original GT2 RS exhaust system weighs 13.34 kg (29.41 lbs). Thanks to the use of high-quality motorsport materials, this has been reduced by no less than –9.30 kg (20.50 lbs). This saving not only improves performance but also the balance and handling of the car by lowering the rearward weight.
Direct Replacement & OEM Integration
The Superlight Race Pipes are a plug & play replacement for the OEM parts. All mounting points and fitments are retained, including the option to keep the original Porsche tips for a factory look. Installation is fully reversible and requires no additional modifications.
Cat Delete with Turbo Protection
For maximum performance, the catalytic converters have been removed. This provides a direct, unobstructed exhaust path to the turbo wheels. To protect the turbos from dirt and small objects, the race pipes are equipped with an integrated Inconel “Gravel Catcher”. This gives you maximum flow and peace of mind.
Motorsport-level Heat Management
The JCR Race Pipes are equipped with Inconel 625 heat shielding, identical to technologies used in the highest classes of motorsport. This significantly reduces radiant heat and protects surrounding components, ensuring performance even during intensive track use.
Performance Gains
Even without an ECU tune, there are significant gains:
-
+30–35 HP peak power
-
Improved throttle response
-
Strong increase in mid-range torque
This system allows the GT2 RS to breathe as it should, with a raw, aggressive sound that perfectly suits a car of this caliber.
