JCR Superlight Race Pipe (Valved / Cat Delete) – Porsche 992 GT3, Touring, RS & S/T
The JCR Superlight Race Pipe has been developed for the most demanding Porsche drivers who desire maximum performance, minimal restriction, and an authentic motorsport sound. For the Porsche 992 GT3, GT3 Touring, GT3 RS, and 992 S/T, this system is the ultimate upgrade for those who want to eliminate the limitations of the OEM exhaust system, especially on OPF-equipped models where sound and performance damping is extremely present.
This configuration is entirely manufactured from ultralight titanium and Inconel, with optional titanium megaphone tips or Inconel rolled tips. The result is incredible weight savings, a more aggressive exhaust sound, better gas flow, and greatly improved performance under high load.
Why this system makes such a difference
The 992-generation GT models, due to the introduction of OPF filters, are significantly quieter and more flow-restricted. JCR has solved this problem by developing a completely free-breathing race system without restrictions. The titanium cat deletes and Inconel valve sections ensure that the airflow is completely liberated, resulting in a raw, pure RSR sound and immediate performance at all RPMs.
Weight savings & construction
The use of titanium and Inconel results in spectacular weight savings. In its most extreme configuration, the system saves more than 17 kg behind the rear axle, which noticeably improves handling. Less mass at the rear means better balance, sharper turn-in, and more stability at high speeds.
Valved design with OEM control
The valved version utilizes the original Porsche valve control. You retain silent mode at low speeds, but once the valves open, the full race characteristic is unleashed. The open-valve configuration offers the same sound as the non-silenced route, as there is no damping present.
Performance improvements
The JCR Superlight Race Pipe delivers guaranteed gains in horsepower and torque. By removing the OPFs, restrictive catalytic converters, and OEM silencers, the engine achieves significantly better flow and lower temperatures during intensive driving, both on the street and track.
Reported gains:
• +26 HP
• +36 TQ
• Faster throttle response
• Greatly improved mid-range punch
• Consistent performance, even during longer track runs
With the OEM exhaust, the 992 generation is susceptible to thermal degradation (power loss after longer runs). The JCR solution prevents this and ensures stable performance.
