The latest Porsche 992.2 models are equipped with the secured H80 MG1 ECU, rendering conventional tuning insufficient. M-Engineering is among the first worldwide to reliably unlock and calibrate these units. The result is an in-depth ECU upgrade that refines the character of the 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six without compromising factory safety features.

Engine Safety Map – Slot 5
M-Engineering is known for a safety-first tuning strategy. Thanks to customized software, the ECU provides an additional layer of protection on top of OEM safety features. The Detonation Defense Algorithm detects abnormal detonation and automatically switches to Map Slot 5 within 20 milliseconds. For ten seconds, power and engine load are reduced to prevent damage. Once conditions are safe, the system restores to the chosen performance level.

Installation Process
As the 2025+ ECU is secured, the original unit must be sent in for unlocking and programming. The average processing time is approximately two weeks.
